Brussel Sprouts with Gremolata
Ingredients
700g Brussels sprouts
1 tbsp Salt
20g Fresh flat leaf parsley
20g Fresh mint leaves
1 Garlic clove
1 Lemon
25g Dried breadcrumbs
3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper
Here’s how
Prep the Brussels sprouts by taking off the outer leaves and removing the stalk.
Place the trimmed sprout into a pan of salted water cover and bring the water to the boil, turn down to a simmer and cook with the lid on for 3- 5 mins.
To make the gremolata chop the fresh herbs, garlic and lemon zest.
Sprinkle over the breadcrumbs and drizzle with olive oil.
Season with salt and pepper and mix together.
When the sprouts are cooked, drain in a colander.
Place the sprouts into a serving dish and sprinkle with the gremolata before serving.
